Prices for DLC
Does anyone else wonder why a single character DLC is so expensive compared to a complete chapter? For example, a single character like Ash or Ghostface costs $5.69 (Canadian) while a complete chapter is $7.99 (Canadian). I stream DBD so always buy the characters but it makes me wonder why it costs less than $3 more (Canadian) for a complete chapter (with 2 characters and a map) versus a single character DLC.

I understand that but then why would a non-licensed/original DLC like The Spirit, cost $7.99 for the chapter and the Saw chapter also costs $7.99. Shouldn't there be a price difference if one is licensed versus the other being original.

I meant mainly why does a whole chapter cost less than $3 more than a single character DLC.

That's a good question, I wondered the same thing for a while. It's because the map is free, everyone gets it whether or not they pay for the chapter. So instead of it being 3$ more for a character and a map it's actually roughly 4$ per character.

Meanwhile a single cosmetic costs around the same or more than a whole character lol
