To answer the question, I would only recommend Distressing if you are using another perk that would benefit from the added radius.
Gf has no map pressure and you just cant deal with it.
low TR = genrush because survivors are "safe"
width TR = survivors know you're there so they'll be more careful
and it doesnt matter If I have 32 meters or 0 meters because as soon as I use my ability, somebody had to follow me and cancel it :(
I feel like GF is points farm for survivors, every time you cancel his ability, you get 500 BP
He's not even supposed to pressure survivors to keep them off gens you want to be able to grab them off gens by being a good stealth killer. I doubt you'll be able to pull anyone off if you keep getting caught by other survivors though
Yes, you are probably suprised but Im new gf player. Kinda regret buying him, I never did 4k vs good survivors
-Monitor and Abuse, not for increased TR, but for DECREASED TF
-Whispers
Now these 2 work like this: you will know when you get close to survivors to activate your ability, and be more careful, so you don't bump into them accidentally. And M&A helps so survivors won't know you are there. This way your ability won't get cancelled immediately.
Now the other 2 perks can be: Hex: Ruin, which is map pressure, not your TR, Pop goes the Weasel, which again is map pressure unlike TR, Corrupt Intervention that is one of the best map pressure perks, especially combined with Hex: Ruin, or something similar.
Or some information perks like Discordance so you know which gen is getting rushed, also you can expose 2 survivors at once.
EDIT: M&A is a doctor perk. Hex: Ruin is in Shrine of Secrets I believe, but it's a Hag perk, Pop is Clown perk, Corrupt Intervention is Plague perk (she has 3 amazing perks BTW), and Discordance is Legion perk. These perks are really useful for most killers, so work with them, or just try to make your own build. But map pressure doesn't work like you think it works. Terror Radius won't affect good survivors. They will use their eyes not just their ears. Pressuring is done by destroying gens, blocking them, killing survivors, slowing them down in any way. If they have to heal, they won't do gens. If they have to hunt Ruin, they will not repair gens. Terror Radius can only pressure survivors if you use perks like Unnerving Presence or Overwhelming Presence.
Don't get too disappointed with yourself because he's not as easy a killer to use, but oftentimes the killers which aren't easy to use become the most effective once you do get a hang of them. The Nurse is notorious for being a difficult to play yet she is without a doubt the best killer in the game, the time put in is very much worth it for what you get out of it.
Here are some pretty basic tips for GhostFace
Even if you don't retaliate by exposing whoever is trying to break you out of night shroud, getting used to constantly ducking out of sight behind some tires or a wall is especially important for GhostFace players. Crouching also reduces your reveal hitbox making it slightly harder to break you out of Night Shroud while doing so,
Turning on Night Shroud in the middle of a chase is also very useful for mindgames especially around jungle gyms that have high walls, in these areas survivors will be more likely to rely more and more on the red stain to determine where in the jungle gym you are / which direction you're coming from. With this not a factor while using night shroud, you can effectively get an easy down for a survivor who's just not paying attention well enough.
A really good example of this is a survivor standing under a pallet, and you turn to walk around, really quickly turn on night shroud, backtrack, and immediately start a lunge that catches a survivor off guard from the exact direction that they thought you had given up approaching because you didn't have a red stain as soon as you activated night shroud.
I can link one specific video that I know for a fact has a lot of very useful insight on how Ghostface and his power Night Shroud actually work specifically. It's more informational to understand how he works as a killer and how his power functions (it's a lot more complicated than you might think actually, especially how he is detected) but he does suggest a few perk builds for new players as well as some tips for general gameplay. (He does this little intro bit that kinda drags on, so if you want to just dive into the information skip to 0:45)

The best part about it is that this video was uploaded last week, so you know that it is using the most recent, current, up-to-date information.
woah thats a lot of info, thanks
I didnt know he made a video about ghostface :D
If you're really looking to capitalize and take full advantage of Ghostface's stealth capabilities, I would also suggest an ultra stealth build: IE
Tinkerer, Monitor & Abuse, Furtive Chase, and Dark Devotion.
It's a completely unnecessary build considering the fact his power already reduces his TR to zero, so I suppose you could consider it more of a meme build than an actual competitive one, and I'll be completely honest when I say I have yet to try this myself, however it looks like it could be a lot of fun to use if you're ever looking for something just to switch things up.
