I forgot what that specific mindset is titled but when there is a superior method of doing something, you will always use that method. Video games are no different.

Whats wrong with it? You should be used to it and know how to counter it. Dead Hard is easy to predict after they use it once cause now you know hey have it and you can wait for them to use it, Decisive Strike is easy to counter, just don't go for the person who got off the hook. Borrowed Time also just don't go for the person who got off the hook, and adrenaline simply put is just try your best to not let them get the gens done.

DH is broken because the utility it provides is only challenged by Adrenaline in the genrush meta in usefulness. It needs something done to it.
BT + DS are annoying for hookrushing SWF.

Dead Hard is not broken if you simply just wait for them to use it. It's not that hard. BT + DS are annoying for hookrushing SWF? Camp, Slug anyone you catch near the hooked survivor. If they're all rushing the hook you have no reason to leave cause they're not doing the objective therefore just wait there and if they get the save chances are you got a good few hits off of bodyblockers or the guy who saved is down.

it's a free second chance perk that makes chases longer, even more so when they use it at a godly loop, that rewards staying injured and rushing gens. That is the exact problem with DbD right now, if you're not Nurse you can't possibly pressure the gens enough. I have Tinkerer and Discordance and all it's good for most of the time is telling me they're rushing a gen while I'm chasing someone. If I don't finish the chase that guy will go on a gen while the other 2 scatter to different gens. If I get the down and hook him 90% of the time the gen will pop right as I'm about to charge a blink.

That's the problem with DbD. Good survivors just rush gens as quick as possible anywhere they're at because there isn't anything that can really slow the game down or distract them for more than a few seconds. Also gens are too boring and require no skill outside of hitting spacebar occasionally. We should get either a 2nd objective or a better main objective because genspeeds get faster every day.

You completely missing the fact that you can counter it by simply not going for them "rewards being injured" okay you get an easy down unless they waste time healing. Yes obviously good survivors are gonna kick your ♥♥♥♥ in, especially if you haven't been playing as long as them and you have a useless build. I don't use ruin on any killer unless I got nothing better and play every killer. Almost every game I get 3-4 kills and on rare occasions 2-1 kills but thats fine cause I don't give a rats ass at winning in this retarded game.

You're missing the point. x4 free escapes x2 per hook xY(y is how many times they use DH from remaining injured) and that's at least 8 free escapes.In a game all about time crunch as killer having all these extra escapes can ruin you if you're a basic m1 killer.

Same reason why you see spirits and nurses everywhere. Every other killer is gonna get looped to oblivion against decent survivors so play these two and now suddenly you're dealing with loops far less often.

It's a PVP meta that's only shaken when a popular twitch streamer/youtube person creates a build that shakes up the meta and destroys the frequent killer/survivor build, but you really can't destroy perks such as Adrenaline because it IGNORES exhaustion. The rest of the build could TECHNICALLY be destroyed by someone such as Wraith (At least dead hard/BT) with exhaustion strikes, but he gets looped to oblivion so not even he works as a counter.

Yes. It literally is. If you're right in front of a pallet and the user dead hards through it, they get a free pallet slam on you when you SHOULD have hit them. You can CORNER someone and they'll dead hard to get out of the corner, which sometimes you can still manage to get a hit off on but they still get that "Speed boost" for the next section of the chase if they're not already wounded.

Dead hard is STUPIDLY broken when a lot of people use it. Anyone who says otherwise either doesn't play killer or doesn't understand basic game design.
