What Is The Point Of Waking Up Against Freddy

If he can hit you while awake or sleeping? There doesn't seem to be any major speed debuff when working on things between awake or asleep, unless i just haven't noticed it.


What reason is there aside from points, to even bother waking up? If anything being asleep makes it easier to spot him and other survivors.

If you are asleep? It doesn't quite seem like it, i just got out of a game where a sleeping Claud was working on the last gen while Freddy was trying to find her

when you are awake, you are not affected by dream traps.
there are also freddy's addons which reduce your action speed (e.g., gen repair) when you are in dream world

so yeah i don't bother to wake up

Point is that if he spots you and you are asleep he will down you easier since his power will affect you(snares and pallets)

Reworked fred no, but beimg awake makes you inmune to his traps, he has less cd in his tp for every survivor asleep and i think he has add ons to slow your progression if you are asleep

When you are asleep you also have a white glow around you that Freddy can see when near you, makes chases and jukes much harder. Also make it impossible to hide in corn and grass unless the Freddy is completely blind. This coming from a Freddy main.
