How will P2P work without a matchmaking server?
Pretty much the same as now tbh
At least with p2p you could AVOID laggy hosts.
While playing killer:
(As mikey/Spirit/freddy)
-Less D/cs
-Less window hits that shouldn't of been happening
-Less hitting people as they pallet stun me
While playing survivor:
-No more killers turning on the lag switch the second gens start popping
-No more hopping lobbies for 20minutes trying to find a killer with good ping
-Less D/cing
-Less B.S hits(Besides the hatchet)
I'm not saying they are perfect. There are obviously bugs that they still need to work through. I would say that even in this buggy state, they are a HUGE improvement over the P2P. At-least if you have decent internet/live in a place that has a server relatively close.
it will be massively better than p2p in terms of matchmaking which will in turn bring in more players
so yes, dedicated server is better than p2p
