SWF Disconnected from Host?
I've been playing SWF with my wife. We've been connected to the same internet, in the same room. The last three games we've tried to play, I've gotten disconnected randomly. Once I was working on a generator, once I was working on a shrine, and once I was just crouched behind a bush watching the killer chase after someone. Each time it said the host disconnected, gave me blood points, let me keep my items, and let me see the other survivor and killers perks. However, looking over my shoulder at my wife's computer, she is still in the match without issue.

What the hell? I ask trying to play this co-op game with my wife with the limited time we have while the baby is sleeping and each time I get disconnected but she doesn't? It's not our internet or it'd drop both of us, it isn't my computer as mine is newer than hers. I can't really justify this game as something we can play together if I drop after 2 minutes.

Doesn't make it immune to crashing or connection issues. Firewall settings could be different on each computer, hardware conflicts etc.

Try playing some games alone and see if it still happens.

I have played solo games, never had this issue. No problems getting through the games, either by escaping, being sacrificed, or as killer killing all 4 or just getting to endgame and having some escape.

Can you both do solo games at the same time? How many times did you try that?

My SWF group keeps getting disconnected while in a lobby. This has been happening for the past 15min. Perhaps they're having connectivity issues?

I played quite a few games solo today just fine. We haven't both been playing solo games as what is the point of that? If we both have time to play, we'd play together.

Also it doesn't address the issue if we CAN both play solo. I want to play with my wife. I can solo anytime.

Because if it still happens when you're both playing solo at the same time then we know it's a connection issue on your end. Possibly because your internet is prioritizing one PC over the other.

If you're not experienced with computers it's understandable for you not to know this but being able to cross out possibilities for what is not causing it is pretty normal tech support stuff.

I'm not suggesting it because I want to say "So just both go play solo HEH HEH" I'm suggesting it because you have a problem and it's possible that it will present a cause and a fix. But you do you.
