As Bricky says Steve is a "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opera singer"
For comparison this is how the interrogation scene from Season 3 of Stranger Things which sees him get beat up, and actually groaning in pain:

In this clip from the next scene you see him actually scream at the very end of the clip.

You can't tell me that sounds ANYTHING alike to the files from the audio files from the PTB, even if some of those pieces of audio are out of date or weren't used, they're still the standard for what's being used in the live build currently.
y'all think the actor did a bad job but i think he did it on purpose. he's supposed to be portraying a kid.
speaking of which:
if u want to pick on dbd steve, let's talk about why his model appears as thought the artist created it to scale and then some art director or manager came by and said "looks great just scale the whole thing up by a factor of 1.1".
he looks gigantic -- bigger than every other player, including those who, we can presume are supposed to be a bit beefier e.g. jeff -- and disproportionate as a result. it's ridiculous. very unprofessional. ridiculous.
