That scream shows the exact location of the survivor when you down someone, they won't be there but it helps you know what direction to take if you want to slug that target and go for someone else, wich buys you some time. It also helps you know nobody is around so no pallet/flashlight save.
Even if you don't go for that person they might asume since their character sceams that it's time to find somewhere to hide.
Infectious Fright can snowball the whole team. It doesnt always work but in some games it does wonders. I like it on Billy.
Since you probably are old - you might consider Doctor over other killers as tracking isn't a problem for him.
Distressing + calm + order addons will help you greatly in finding survivors.
I hate to admit this, but Shadowborn is quite nice on Nurse. For a long time I played without Shadowborn and used Ruin instead. But after using Shadowborn for a bit, I can see why Nurses like it so much. Because it makes you more comfortable playing Nurse. Try playing with and without Shadowborn for a while and you'll see what I'm talking about.
To be fair, I still don't think Shadowborn is required on Nurse. If you play without the perk you can still do very well. But you'll miss out on the comfortability factor, which as a Nurse main I must admit is very nice to have (this comfortability factor can help you stay in control btw in case of a rough game).
As for Infectious Fright, it can be devastating on Nurse. Sure, if a survivor is right at the 32 meter range, then it might be hard to find that survivor. But if a survivor is closer you can usually find them pretty quickly. Infectious Fright in many cases will severely punish survivors that are clustered together. Just make sure you have the blinking skills to punish the survivors.
The problem is you are using infectious fright on nurse, the killer that looks at the ground after downing somebody lol. Your supposed to use it on Billy.
I disagree with IF on nurse - it isn't that good.
That being said some monitors and graphics cards are better than others. My monitor is super bright even with the brightness down to zero. I've never had problems finding p3 claudette hiding in the shadows but that may just be how well I see in the dark.
Your mileage may vary but it's incredibly good if you are the type of player who can do blink blink hit, blink blink hit with extreme precision. Marth for example makes incredible use of this perk but we are not all up to that level.
The thing about ruin is that not using it means you can lose a generator in under 30 seconds if survivors spawn close together. I don't know if it is just this patch but that seems to be happening all the time now.
Moreover when you don't use ruin you risk losing the game in under 4 minutes (even happened to Marth recently as nurse)
I've been running Dying Light and it is super effective at preventing the last 2 gens.
That perk is so gross. You get nothing if the marked survivor dies or leaves the game. You buff one of the survivors for the entire game for 30% and you really don't have a very big bonus most of the time.
I still hook them regularly. If they die they die.
Im doing great with my plag slugging build. It cluthed my games many times. Specially if you add noed
