It's because of the temporal anti-aliasing, you can search up how to deactivate it in the game.ini files
The Developers have many times stated, that if you receive a ban for changing the game files, you may be banned. Because the EAC is automatic, and the Developers have no access to it, they will not be able to unban you, if you ever receive a ban from EAC for modifying those game files.
Many people, however, haven't been banned, and a few have been claiming, they've been banned. Therefore, I'd say, nobody can really tell.
