Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist folder
In there you'll find 4 folders (2010,2012,2013,and 2015) and each one of these folders will have two files you'll need to run one at a time. These files are vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe. And yes, you need to run both.
Go into each folder, one at a time starting with 2010 and run "vcredist_x64.exe" then choose the repair option and click next, when it's done click finished. Next in the same folder run "vcredist_x86.exe" then choose repair and click next, then finished.
Then goto the 2013 folder and essentially do the same as you did for 2010, run "vcredist_x64.exe" choose repair, this time it will tell you that you need to restart before using but just click close not restart. Then run "vcredist_x86.exe" choose repair, next then close.
This game also uses 2015, 2017 and 2019 but recently Microsoft merged them into one package so you have to get the files from Microsoft and they can be found here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
Scroll down a little to the Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 section and download these two files:
vc_redist.x86.exe
vc_redist.x64.exe
Just like you did with 2010 and 2013 you need to run those one at a time choosing the repair option if it is available, if not choose install.
Now for DirectX June2010.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010
Run DXSETUP.exe, accept and then let it run, once it's complete click finish.
Reboot system and try playing.
DUDE, THANKS!
This worked perfectly, you tha man.
Only thing with it being August 2020- the 2015 wouldn't work but the ones in the 2017 folder allowed me to repair them. Game is now loaded!
No problem happy to help! I'm going to edit the other post to point out another way to update 2015, 2017 and 2019 Visual C++'s
