I don't picture him as slasher or having that tone either.

But If they did use someone else's property it have to be someone very specific.

Or they would create their own original killer
who can be a video-game-mascot, circus, carnival, school, camp-mascot,
base from a animal/creature/cartoon.
Like a knock off of Mickey-Mouse, or Chuckie Cheese
or some kind of theme-park or fast food mascot.

I can't take a giant killer teddy bear seriously in a chase. I just can't.
Kind of reminds me of the 40 winks game I played as a kid where you had a teddy bear riding a giant spider in the nightmare world lmao.

Ghost face would be scarier and also funny. Funny watching Ghost face chase others around thanks to the scary movies series, terrifying being chased by him thanks to the Scream series.

I think it's kinda easy to make a teddy bear scary

Basically my idea of a monster/killer would be a Teddy Bear that act or are similar
to mimics from the dungeon and dragon games, but more gruesome.
or a Teddy Bear is a similar to the creature Thing from John Carpenter The Thing.
