Left behind, the worst perk ever.
Left behind is a perk beloning to Left 4 Deads greatest zombie killer, Bill Overbeck. This perk grants the ability:

If you are the last person remaining in the trial, for each Generator that needs to be repaired, gain a 19/22/25 % bonus to Repair speed.

It may sound like a great perk that helps out in the late game (givin the possibility you are still alive,) but there is a catch, no wait, catches. The first problem is that it only takes effect if you are last person alive, so if there is 2-3 gens left it wont matter cause the killer will catch you eventually, not giving you enough time to take advantage of the perk (and im not even taking into consideration of the killer runing ruin or overcharge.) The second problem, and its the BIGGEST problem with left behind, THE HATCH EXISTS!!!! What would you rather do, repair the remaining generators, or go for the hatch?

The only ways I see this perk working is this:
You are the last survivor, there are 2 gens left, both you and the killer knows where the hatch is. you predict the killer to camp the hatch, taking advantage of that you repair the generator at a high rate. Fully repaired you search for the last gen while the killer is stumped as to why you fixed the gen and not rush the hatch. Or you are the last survivor and there is one gen left, fix it, then rush the gate.
Even then neither of these strategies are good at all, which only enforces my point

Im sure it has its moments, but there are more effective perks that far outclass this one. Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to say how terrible this perk is, considering it belongs to BILL F...ING OVERBECK; oh well, at least we have borrowed time.

Yeah left behind isn't the greatest perk, is it

I always found it peculiar: Why does it give you a bonus for every unrepaired generator?
You need the high bonus for when there's only 3 left.

I suggested it before in Suggestions & Feedback, but i can't stop liking the idea of: Make it work reversed. Gain 25% bonus repair speed for every generator that's repaired.

For when your team dies with 4 gens remaining. Also the perk affects more than repair speed.

If I was forced to choose I'd probably go Deja Vu lol.

If you are the last survivor left and you aren't looking for the hatch, you're doing it wrong.

There are some situations when your team is so uncapable of doing anything that they might've done 0-1 generators :)).
Edit: And the killer was after u the whole time
Edit 2: I've seen people hiding in the lockers like 90% of a match xD

It's possible to have 3 survivors dead, and not enough gens completed for hatch to open (mostly in a hook-rush happy group). So, say 1 or 0 gens have been finished, and you're the last one. The idea is to use the massive speed boost this gives you to finish the one or two you need to make the hatch open, then run for the hatch.

Left Behind is only good if you're going for the achievement

Damn u for ur emoji. Unfair life
Those kinds of matches don't happen enough to consider taking that perk. Plus most incompetent teams die with just enough time to give you the 2 gens needed for the hatch, at that point why would you work on gens at all when you can just go to the hatch? Unless killer is camping it, in which case you don't need to speed through the gens if he doesn't budge, or you just need to finish that one gen to make him move and then go to the hatch before he goes back.

Off topic... The thing with the hatch reminded me of a thing I used to do while I was friendly(for the old quests that took a lot of time if u didn't have levels on some killers)... Sometimes I would let the last one get to the hatch. I would follow them and when they jumped I would take them and ofc let them leave but I thought it was scary for them to see themselves taken away from the hatch thinking they could end on a hook. XD

I mean, if you wanna quickly build up some objective points that's as good as it can be when the hatch spawns.
True, but you're risking 7500 for those extra gen points. Good perk with a terrible limitation making it near worthless.
