However, it's also boring to face spirit 9/10 games.
How to make spirit more fun to face? Buff bad killers
To be honest, I'd rather face a nurse than a spirit since spirit is significantly easier to face.
I would like to see the game stretched out to be longer on both sides. I think it would make certain killers less frustrating to face. I think they should look at the game itself and stop tweaking killers and survivors so much.
WIthout prayer beads she (her slapping footsteps) is easily audible and easy to avoid.
50/50 just like u said.
Though, a lot of people seem to think nerfing Spirit would be a good idea but it isn't, it's killing off killer mains that want to play as a killer that provides a challenge to survivors. Without a challenge neither sides would be able to score decently and get a fair amount of BP in a match if everything is too easy or too hard for them meaning the ranking system would be pointless because you won't score enough to maintain a pip or pip up. They should be trying to balance the killers out as much as they can so they each have a challenge of their own, because let's face it; SWFs with voice coms or survivors running insta heals, keys, rainbow maps and vice versa are already considered a challenge to majority of killer mains hence why there are some that don't like versing up against those sort of teams so it would be nice for survivors to have a better and proper challenge from a general variety of killers rather than the same two strong killers because no one wants to be looped and gen rushed constantly on a standard killer and no survivor main wants to verse the same killers.
They should also be looking at the game mechanics itself and implement more objectives for both sides to make games last longer and give more points and BP rather than your usual objectives because we all know you can evade a killer pretty well and get a silver instead of iridescent or get a 4k and still get entity displeased.
And to think some idiot suggested to nerf every viable killer just to make everyone viable
Unless you are a seriously hardcore it's either no pip or pip loss from face her because frankly the points are too hard on both sides to add up thus both sides are bored as ♥♥♥♥.
That makes the killer and survivors just want to suicide out of the game and move on.
Sadly for killers no such suicide exists and they then have to play find that survivor who knows to walk.
Nurse was #1 complaint before spirit and right after that billy because... Yeah these were the top tier, most used killers back then. People grow "bored" of anything that gives them the idea they can't win and/or what shows up the most. Spirit has been there for a pretty long time without anyone complaining about her and over night she became cancer, just because her potential got finally discovered.
I can't take these threads seriously anymore, because even if devs would remove spirit, nurse and billy, people would hate on the next strongest killer in the line. Nerfing viable killers won't get you any more killer variety, as mentioned already.
Buff weak ones. Rant closed.
Nurse, while strong, gives you something to play against, because you get to see if she's going to be on point, or if you're going to be able to juke her. Spirit is phasing all over the place, you don't 'see' anything, you're just guessing, so it feels more like 'luck' at that point.
A good nurse is more rare than a good spirit, because spirit is obviously easier to play but if you face such a nurse it's basically impossible to win. Can't say that about most spirits I met.
