spirit is so boring to play against?
ı'm a rank 1 survivor and killer. ı'm not one of these people who say ''spirit is op please nerf.'' I think she might potentially be the best killer in the game but it's not the case. whenever ı go against a spirit, ı'm not enjoying that game. even though she chases me the entire game, her power keeps coming back in 10 seconds. There is literally 50/50 chance for you to mindgame a spirit, you either jump throught that window and vault back or drop the pallet etc. you go for the unhook and she is back in 5 seconds, most of them tunnels at red ranks as well. what do you guys think about playing against spirit?

It's boring to play against any of the bottom 5 killers. I'd rather have a challenge than an easy L1 simulator.

However, it's also boring to face spirit 9/10 games.

How to make spirit more fun to face? Buff bad killers

To be honest, I'd rather face a nurse than a spirit since spirit is significantly easier to face.

The whole game could use a fresh coat of paint, really. I think if they shook up the core mechanics a bit that it would breathe fresh air into everything.

I would like to see the game stretched out to be longer on both sides. I think it would make certain killers less frustrating to face. I think they should look at the game itself and stop tweaking killers and survivors so much.

I find spirit to be less exciting but more joyful to face and juke, if that makes sense.

WIthout prayer beads she (her slapping footsteps) is easily audible and easy to avoid.
50/50 just like u said.

I personally enjoy versing up against Spirits and I find a lot of thrill and adrenaline from it. Speaking generally though, if there's constant spirits every match then what the developers should be doing is buffing the weak killer instead of nerfing the stronger killers for more killer variety. Killer mains are playing what's able to give them a decent match so I don't blame them for not wanting to play a loopable machine that gets BMed all the time so buffing the other killers will encourage them to play as the other killers instead of survivors constantly versing Spirits and having a lot of survivors make the same repetitive thread on nerfing Spirit like they did for Nurse.

Though, a lot of people seem to think nerfing Spirit would be a good idea but it isn't, it's killing off killer mains that want to play as a killer that provides a challenge to survivors. Without a challenge neither sides would be able to score decently and get a fair amount of BP in a match if everything is too easy or too hard for them meaning the ranking system would be pointless because you won't score enough to maintain a pip or pip up. They should be trying to balance the killers out as much as they can so they each have a challenge of their own, because let's face it; SWFs with voice coms or survivors running insta heals, keys, rainbow maps and vice versa are already considered a challenge to majority of killer mains hence why there are some that don't like versing up against those sort of teams so it would be nice for survivors to have a better and proper challenge from a general variety of killers rather than the same two strong killers because no one wants to be looped and gen rushed constantly on a standard killer and no survivor main wants to verse the same killers.

They should also be looking at the game mechanics itself and implement more objectives for both sides to make games last longer and give more points and BP rather than your usual objectives because we all know you can evade a killer pretty well and get a silver instead of iridescent or get a 4k and still get entity displeased.

^This.
And to think some idiot suggested to nerf every viable killer just to make everyone viable

The biggest problem is the game is the ranking system isn't designed to face spirit.

Unless you are a seriously hardcore it's either no pip or pip loss from face her because frankly the points are too hard on both sides to add up thus both sides are bored as ♥♥♥♥.

That makes the killer and survivors just want to suicide out of the game and move on.

Sadly for killers no such suicide exists and they then have to play find that survivor who knows to walk.

Whatever is meta atm, people grow bored of it. I remember a time legion was pretty popular because he had no counterplay. How many legions do you see today? The only complaint about him nowadays is that he's weak.
Nurse was #1 complaint before spirit and right after that billy because... Yeah these were the top tier, most used killers back then. People grow "bored" of anything that gives them the idea they can't win and/or what shows up the most. Spirit has been there for a pretty long time without anyone complaining about her and over night she became cancer, just because her potential got finally discovered.
I can't take these threads seriously anymore, because even if devs would remove spirit, nurse and billy, people would hate on the next strongest killer in the line. Nerfing viable killers won't get you any more killer variety, as mentioned already.
Buff weak ones. Rant closed.

Spirit is boring to play against because there's not much to play 'against'.

Nurse, while strong, gives you something to play against, because you get to see if she's going to be on point, or if you're going to be able to juke her. Spirit is phasing all over the place, you don't 'see' anything, you're just guessing, so it feels more like 'luck' at that point.

Only thing unfair about her is her prayer beads. Remove that and she's fine. Nurse is just the same gamble to get away from. She feels more interactive because you can see her, but you are downed already, you just don't know it yet. Same as with spirit, yet you can juke her a while just the same. You probably have done it already, you'll just never know, because you don't know where the heck she is and what she's doing. I used to main her and there were countless times a survivor juked me via scratch marks, probably without knowing it.
A good nurse is more rare than a good spirit, because spirit is obviously easier to play but if you face such a nurse it's basically impossible to win. Can't say that about most spirits I met.
