There were also those cases where some hair got "morphed" all over the map for a few seconds, but havent seen that in a while.
Another funny thing happening now is the shortly dissapearing of hair. I see it often with Steve & Nancy when i hook them. It looks like for a short moment as if they have wigs and they fell of during the hooking lol.

but yesterday i had a video of noob3 in my youtube page and the hairs on his nea looks much much better thats why i was wondering.
here is the video example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji7p-LA2JnY&t=21s
just skip to 0:20 and you will see how nice it looks or much better.
so i thought maybe they changed something in the .ini files?
But the devs already fixed this issue by adding AA....yup man that true, it's "fixed"
So for now you need to play on medium graphic or higher to get better hair shaders and get ride of Pixels.
Edit:- Low also have AA enabled but it make everything blurry, if you turned AA off in config file you will get even uglier hair.
thats not true.
with AA or without it looks the same, i tried that already out.

i guess the AA does hide the pixelated hair a little bit by making the overall game blurry.
after i took those Screenshots i tried to fix it with Nvidia freestyle by adding Sharpness effect but it's didn't help alot tho.
so idk, they said on stream that they're experimenting with the new Hair shaders provided by UE4.
imo they failed hard and gave up, or they're still trying to fix it (hopefully)
Hmm strange.. if i turn AA on it doesnt look like that.. like in your screenshoots.
Which command do you use in the .ini ?
are you running the game on medium settings? because that could be your problem right there, i don't know why but textures are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up at medium settings in particular, run the game on either low or high depending on how well your pc performs
could also be a resolution thing, bump the res to 100%
its on low without AA
my pc cant handle high-ultra especially against freddy.
and the resolution is on 100%
i just give up and wait for a fix
C:\Users\"Name"\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
and adding those lines at the end:-
[/script/engine.rendereroverridesettings]
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
i simply deleted those lines switched to Ultra and took the screenshot.
i also play on Low - Medium setting cause anything over than that just burns my gpu.
so yeah, the devs fked Hair shader on low - medium setting and to "fix it" they forced AA and run away.
