What does it mean and why do I not have one? :)

It means you don't have a steam account.










On a srs note it's a glitch, just google "how to find steam id" i'm sure you'll find your answer there.

I mean in game, if you enter the Settings menu there is a Player ID at the bottom. My friends have IDs listed there but I don't.

You need to have public profile for it to show your ID in game

That's just for support if you've lost your save data. Send that to them and the other info they ask for in the pinned thread and they will help you out.
