Where is the save files located at?

I see a bunch of people who lost their progress, and everyone tells them that they could have made a back up of their save file.

I've been looking after the save file in case it Happened to me, but i just can't find it..

Steam > userdata >random number (75978547 for me) > random number (381210 for me) > remote > ProfileSaves

there's a profje and procje file, keep those two on another device

The first number is unique to you like your steam ID the 2nd number is a game id for dbd this number is 381210 this is the same for everyone

381210 is always same. Its the game id.

The save files are locally saved and read, it's very easy to alter them (lots of people used to give themselves milltions of bloodpoints, thankfully there's things in place to stop this now)

Sadly talk of where the save files are stored is very close to talking about cheats (which is not allowed) so this thread might get closed.

By backing up your data regularly. Use the info above to prevent it in the future.

Until you work your way up again, yes. Next time it happens though you'll have a backup.

I don't have anything after ''remote'', somebody know why?
So basically I have all the files before you're suppossed to press ''remote'', so no ''profilesaves'' or anything.
