The win rate difference between killers and survivors should be 5% or so.
5%? How do you know that? I was thinking 70-30 win rate.
Well tell the people who made this game that. They haven't gotten the message.
Gotta put in the time if you want to be paid your dues. As with any game.
Funny you link to CoH2 stats about balance.... wow did that game ever hose the balance for the Germans. Ahem. Anyway.... you should know that the killer has an easier time at the start of the game while the survivor is the opposite (strongest at top tier).
Only devs have that info and they rarely share it. Long story short they want survivors to die 50% of the time. In any given game they want 2 survivors living and 2 escaping.
Killer "victories" are not what you think. Basically the devs keep score in terms of escapes/deaths. So the only scores are: 4/0 - 3/1 - 2/2 - 1/3 - 0/4.
I dont even know how to escape from killer. Killer has better movement speed so surviver has 0% chance to run away from pursuit. Do you have any videos shaking off track from killer?
And as for CoH2 I still believe that CoH1 is the best game. But I just want to give an example that devs sharing win rate with commutity.
You shouldn't just be looking to outrun when you're being chased. You should be looking to outsmart the killer and hide. I'll often run to a large tree in tall grass, duck behind it and circle as they pass. It works surprisingly often.
nononono at high rank survivors got gud, killers just had a cake walk all the way up.
Yes, I'm sure the way that addons, perks and offerings being added incrementally has nothing at all to do with it.
How else would a survivor actually survive then, killers would just wipe groups every game. You can start rank 20 killer and by the end of the day be within the green to purple ranks easily. They get bp fast due to easier objectives but run into trouble with high ranks; those who grinded a hell of a lot more as a survivor. By the time they reach within red ranks is where the problem lies, killers who had a easier time grinding through noobs into survivors who learned the game.
I haven't not pipped as a killer in months. And I play really elite SWF groups all the time.
With that said, I don't feel like I have to kill anyone, I even leave someone on the ground that I've hooked before, just to keep the chase going. So my statistics would show that I rarely "win".
Stopped reading when you said killers get bp fast.
