You can also hear them healing from the other side of a building like mothers house or ironworks, big buildings. It's nearly as good as nurses calling.
I use it on The Shape since victims are always trying to break LoS, this can give you pin point accurate information for where they're hiding.
Since Stridor and Whispers are usually compared I put that on to try one frusturated day after realizing Stridor didn't help at all in like 4-5 games in a row. I have not looked back. I had replaced my Stridor 3 for Whispers 2 and I noticed a very nice effect right away with Nurse. I could just check out an area and immediately move knowing no one was in that part of the level. People with Iron Will are dealt with the same way, but I can get started faster finding them in the first place.
EDIT: To be fair the gamepedia says the Iron Will should have meant they were still 50% louder, but I couldn't really notice it in practise.
It makes it much easier, to locate hiding or injured survivors.
For me, it`s a must have, especially now, after the devs made silly changes to the sound system!
Also random breathing, it's easier to hear.
But I guess it's just a personal taste =)
