I see theories and other such things and people automatically assume "Freddy Krueger" as the guy.....

Well here is a cool discussions for everyone to consider.

Option 1: The sandman could basically be the Bogeyman based on the Lore's?

Option 2: The Sandman could be based on the 2017 movie directed by Stan Lee.

Option 3: The sandman could be a new killer with a original origin story.

My Thoughts:
I would like it to be Freddy but for a game like this? Doesn't fit his killing style and methods we already have two iconic legends (Michael Myers and Leatherface) as licensed characters and recently we got Leatherface so for another licensed character is a little to much don't ya think?

I would like a brand-new original killer like the devs did with the trapper and the Huntress.

So what are you thoughts?

I mean the only one that popped into my mind when I first heard of The Sandman was the sand guy from uhm I guess the 2nd spiderman movie but I can't tell if it's the 2nd for sure. Tho that's not exactly from a horror movie the concept would be interesting.
Edit: Also seeing they just did a licensed character like 2 weeks ago I doubt they would like to spend that much money again for another one so soon.

To be honest, that guy seemed like he had witnesses murder. Just look at these dead eyes. I wouldn't want to sleep after being visited by him. I'd be afraid he'd gut me and sell my kidneys.
