DBD transparency with items.
Ever wonder what slightly this or that does? As an audience I feel like we deserve to have concrete numbers. So I have sent some crows to talk to the entity and I have feedback from the developers! Be aware these are for these specific items only and other items/perks have different numbers so don't assume anything.

These are pretty much direct quotes so don't be trying to say this info is wrong... because it isn't (posted today at 11 pm).

This is a snippit of a conversation about flashlights - mainly concerning the bettery and filament

First be aware order for the flashlight matters - giving priority to the left most item (what? I had no idea. That fact alone boggles the mind)

"+2 charges for the battery
slightly increased efficiency is 12%
and 24% for moderately
Battery is slightly at +2, +4 for moderately, +6 for considerably
looks like 8 charges becomes 9.92 with a 24% increased efficiency
♥♥♥♥♥ for a 12 charge flashlight
if you do battery + filament it will be more efficient I believe, I need to do the math first"

If you like this kind of thing and wish there was more please give this a bumb or something. With enough support one day we *might* have an option in the menu that changes all slightly, moderately, greatly, etc. I can't offer any promies on that...only shattered hopes and dreams. But if you like that kind of thing then this post is for you!

I think we need to receive the correct numbers with not only items but perks, since some of them don't do what they say they do: http://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/discussions/0/1500126447401890187/

I would love regular numbers instead of slightly moderately etc.

I think most people would too. This is why I bother to get little gems of info like this and pass them along. I would love to have an option to click and turn all the "nonsense" words into something concrete you can measure.

Wow, pretty helpful info right here.

Because people would actually get pissed off at uselessness of some items.
Considerable decrease in healing speed from killers items decrease healing speed by 25% - which sounds useful.
Moderate decrease in repair speed sounds nice, isn't it? It only decrease it by 5%...

giving a Perk (Tinkerer) 10% boost in the description for items that have their stats described as "moderatly" or "slightly" is indeed kinda weird ..

so ... with tinkerer i am getting 10% more of "slightly" how much is that ?

I'm not sure but it feels that if addons gives you 2.5% - with tinkerer it becomes 12.5%.

I mean two addon's for fast wind up without tinkerer make barely any difference, with tinkerer it gets really fast.

Tinkerer is a really strange perk. Wish I knew more or could say more!

It adds flat percentages.
Say some addon gives you 5% faster charge on your ability, with Tinkerer, it will give you 15% more.
It also stacks, so if you have an addon that increases it by 5% and another one by 10%, you will have a total of 35% increase with Tinkerer...
The problem is finding the proper values for these addons.

Yes and I'm sure everybody just knows where to find that reddit post, and I'm sure when you play the game there's just links to it in the game that allow you to see what the stuff actually does.

Having somebody on reddit do it for the devs doesn't excuse not doing it in the game.
