Can we finally get a hook down in the boiler room so survivors don't just run there every time for free wiggle escapes or is that gonna take half a year as well?

Side note: their recent changes also made it extremely darker inside all the buildings on maps. You can hardly see anything.

Can, but honestly, every other map it's impossible to free yourself before they make it to a hook anyway. I feel like, unless you're going only for the basement, the carry perks are worthless.

Keyword is can.

What if it doesn't?

Exactly. If it doesn't, there needs to be hooks down there. This isn't even mentioning the ridiculous number of safe pallets down there already.

place it in freddys bedroom, or where the basement can spawn

Either you make it like Haddonfield and the basement HAS TO be there or you add a hook in the school, upstairs or downstairs.

no need for upstairs, just one so we can hook them, if more then one are there, let them rot in their blood

Also that map at worse has pallets to loop for time of 10 gens.

Pretty good job so far.

Loops aren't too much of problem with that map. It's the Pallet spawns.
There's far too many that are absolutely safe , ie you MUST break them to continue chasing and if they're down you better go back and break them before someone else runs to them.

Like seriously, that double pallet in the basement and that triple pallet upstairs for example.

Overall I do not mind the safe pallets in the school too much. If they're broken, it makes the school very unsafe to be in.

But of course 'stead of having about 2 safe pallets they just loaded the place with it, and forgot to put in hooks to boot.

The basement always spawns in the Strode house because there's no killer shack on Haddonfield.

They'd have to remove the shack on Springwood to justify spawning the basement under the preschool every time.

Even so, that'd still suck for killers, as it would still take forever to carry a survivor down throught the preschool and boiler room.

Not to mention survivors would avoid it like the plague, as they do with the Strode house.

The shack can just be a shack without basement then.
Also there is a hole in the floor that leads directly to the killer basement. Catching anybody in or around the school would make it easy to bring them there.
It's still a tad harder to get survivors in there, but it's also a ton harder to get them out, so it's a fair trade.

Every new dlc map just gets progressively worse and worse. First it was asylum, which was terrible when it first came out; then haddon field, an RNG nighmare; Then Swamp, bugged pallets, nurse blinks, large as hell, and also foggy as hell map; then treatmant thearter, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible to navigate; Mothers dwelling is actually decent. Only problem is the house, its slightly annoying. Finally Springwood... God this map is cancer.

have to agree, if you catch someone in the school, it's almost assured they'll wiggle out before you get the chance to actually get them to a hook.. It's sad..
Zero Complex Dec 6, 2017 @ 10:56pm
There's always a hook directly outside of the school doors, regardless of where the basement spawns...there's time to carry a survivor from the basement to that hook...but only one if the basement isn't there. When the basement isn't located in the school, there isn't a gen that spawns on the bottom floor either...that one spawn in the small back corner room on the main floor. Which makes survivors going into the basement a giant waste of their own time.
Someone heading down there can sit and wait and be useless for their team. If the person who goes down there is the last, and you down them with their expectation being that they're gonna wiggle free as you carry them to a hook...stand over top of them and watch as they bleed to death.
