I mean ive tried that and was unable to do it. I am probably just bad tbh
If you spin the same directions you'll know cause your survivor turns very slowly, this is where a lot of people mess it up. Doing it correctly makes your character spin extremely quickly, allowing you to dodge the swing of the killer and confuse him as to your escape direction. It's very important you spin your mouse the opposite direction.
Of course, a good killer will anticipate a 360, or may adapt to it by reacting with backing up, or spinning his swing in the direction you spin in order to get a better chance of landing a hit. It isn't 100%

you can see killers like unumz be styled on here and there. it can be a misplay from the killer or mechanical skill from the survivor. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. it's worth attempting.. i waste hits among the best killers pretty often
