Well, it's about the recent leak where someone datamined "Sandman" to be next killer. Could be a hoax of course, but it's an interesting "coincidence" that this trailer just popped up a day ago.

Yeah, I agree. But it's not about the movie, rather the potential of this being our "Sandman" killer.

Well the Survivor in the supposed leak was named Kate but going by the IMDB page for the movie there is no such character.

I heard the survivor and character were being released seperately, not in the same chapter. I'm not sure though

Kate is for DLC 6, The Sandman is part of seven as well as the survivor known as dlc7

Ah, that makes sense then. I found it strange that Leatherface came under DLC6 yet there was still 3 Survivor achievements under DLC6 too.

I don't think that film is well known enough for the licensing to be truly worthwhile. You'd just as well make a new killer from scratch.

"The Sandman" could just be a nickname, like "The Cannibal" for Leatherface or "The Shape" for Myers. If that's the case, it's probably Freddy Krueger. Mortal Kombat has shown that Krueger's license is obtainable for video games, so I think he's pretty likely. Otherwise I suspect it will be an original character, but I'd imagine they want to go with another big name for Hallowe'en.

If it will be Freddy Krueger instant buy, because of his laughs and badass look (i hope he can laugh in the game like he used in the movies) :D

This trailer and "monster" are pretty "meh" in my opinion, but Tobin Bell from the Saw series is in the film... so that's something (I guess).

I'd take Freddy Krueger anytime before this guy. :p
