Is Brutal Strength REALLY worth it?
BBQ & Chili, Nurses Calling, Deerstalker and Ruin is my build is most Killers but thinking about swapping Deerstalker for Brutal Strength or Enduring, what do you guys think? Is Brutal Strength worthy of a slot? Or not really? The nerf hit it pretty hard, having 15% faster speed without Brutal Strength than before and the overall time lower WITH Brutal Strength means it's not mandatory now, right?

I still use Brutal Strength on most killers that needs it. (Trapper/Myers/Wraith in my case) Sometimes I replace it with Enduring, or just take both.

It's not mandatory as it used to be tho, but it's actually huge since it allows you to catch up on survivors faster, allowing them less time to reach proper looping spots.

they didn't nerfed Brutal Strength... they increased the base breaking pallet time and reduced Brutal Strength acordingly, it's basically the same speed as before... In order to make it a viable pick, without being a must have.

Enduring is better than Brutal Strength, but it depends on which killers you plan to use it on. For example, Enduring/Brutal Strength are both useless on Nurse. Enduring is good on any other killer, and both can be good on Wraith/Freddy (killers that lack abilities to end chases).

I think its level 3 is good but otherwise wouldn't use it unless it's 3. It's not bad at all at the other two levels, I just don't think it really shines until 3 as the base speed breaking that was recently buffed is adequate enough.

combine both Enduring And Brutal Strength to eat pallets and destroy loopers. but at the cost of wasting 2 perks slots. i prefert to use one or the other but i prefert brutal over enduring because yes you will recover faster after getting hit by a pallets but it will take longer after to destroy it.

Things I never have to worry over.

It's like 5-6% worse than it used to be, so it is actually worse than it was before.

But yeah it's certainly not as mandatory, which is nice. I still like using it on killers like Wraith and Myers though, and overall Enduring is probably a better perk.

Nah, I tested it. It's actually a 0,02s difference, so it's more like 0,5% worse than before, which is quite negligible.

BS is pretty much still mandatory because looping is still a thing.

Base pallet break speed was buffed by 15%, and 20% was taken off of Brutal Strength, which is where I got the 5% from.

Actually, it was something like 1.8s to break a pallet with BS level 3 now it's 2.08s, that alone is quite a difference, but do to that before it took forever to break pallets so you NEEDED BS, but now it's 15% overall faster, so it makes BS not look as appealing imo.

did some testing myself, and the speed of breaking of the pallet remains the same
Enduring remain a best choice over Brutal strengh, resilience to pallets and DS

It doesn't make any difference to pallet loopers. So: enduring is much better than BS.

Both infos are wrong.
They changed the pallet maths entirely. The 40% before used to be only for the breaking animation.
Now they made brutal strength (and the whole animation, actually, not only BS) to affect the whole "looking down to breaking animation", leading to the exact same speed.

I actually paired 2 videos side to side to compare, and there's literally a 0,02s difference

It does, by not allowing loopers to reach the optimized point of a loop (the most far away points), which will force earlier drops and less running in circle, which is invaluable.
It can also turn a "I barely reach a pallet" into a "I get hit", which is huge.

How many fast you destroy pallets? 0.4/ 0.5 seconds? Enduring is better to not respect pallets and DS
