1. Get your paws on saboteur. It's useful in two ways. A. You aren't completely off your game if your toolbox gets depleted and B. You get to sabotage at full speed for twice as long. It's an absolute necessary perk for anyone who wants to sabotage.
2. Pick your tools carefully. Depending on what you got, there are a mutitude of combinations to bring. Here are a few suggestions.
W/o Sabo:
-Brown toolbox + Scraps. (Running just the worn out tools means you can't full sabotage a third hook. Scraps will give you enough to finish the third hook and keep your toolbox for another game.
-Yellow toolbox + Wire cutting addon. (This is really nice for Sabo dailies, you'll be chomping through hooks plus the toolbox/add-ons add-ons rent too hard to come by in the blood web.)
Commodious toolbox + Wire spool. (This this for a massive amount of charges. You should be able to more or less complete your Sabo daily in one game.
W/Sabotage
-Worn out tools + Wire cutters. (If you have sabotage, your worn out tools are pretty much as good as a yellow toolbox. Same result as using yellow toolbox plus wire cutters, except with a less scarce resource.
Alex's toolbox + Wire Spool + Hacksaw. (Incredibly fast 99% speed, and a very large pool of charges. Thus is perfect for people who want to 99 but don't want to get hate for wasting their teammates time.)
Commodious toolbox + Wire cutters + Protective gloves. (The gloves are really QOL, but they increase the skill check chance. Nailing great skill checks plus the wire cutters are a great way to quickly complete hooks, and saboteur + commodious provides ample charges.)
Perk load outs:
Generally I bring self care, empathy, saboteur, and spine chill. But since you don't have saboteur, I'm going to mix it up a lil' bit. I would recommend Open Handed, Bond, Spine chill, and Iron will. Just body block on the way to a 99'd hook and then drop it. Fade away with iron will and find a teammate to heal you up.
