What is the wraith and huntress inspired by

its clear that most of the killers are inspired by something, and leatherface being released was kind of problematic being that billy was already inspired by him

Trapper - Jason (and maybe a bit of myers too)
Hag - Freddy
Doc - (Dramatization Of Real Story)
Billy - Leatherface
Nurse - (Seems to have some creepypasta/silent hill origins)

What do you all think about their inspirations, if they really have any at all? (this wasnt made to bash the character creation for dead by daylight at all, i love their desgin and the DBD team has even won an award for the desgin of the trapper, im just wondering what the roots of these two are)

The hag is a sort of Swamp monster lady and Wraith is like a predator type killer.

Any direct inspiration is hard to pin point

they both have simmilar hands/weapons first off, freddy favours scaring and terrorizing people before killing them, the hags traps basically do that, they snap your camera to the trap and essencially jumpscare you, besides myers who can go up behind you when your on a gen at EW1 this is the only true "jumpscare" in the game (unless you count stepping in a trap or something. but either way i didnt say these were absolute 100% inspirations it just seems they could be something that inspired each one, this is just from me as well i dont have any evidence but obviously some make more sense than others do

it is hard but thats why im asking, the only ones where i couldnt think of some base inspiration are the ones im asking about, the rest you can tell that they have some aspects or even "personalites" of some other killers (example of a perosnality comparison, jason and the trapper both have very firm and "powerful" movements, most notably when theyre walking)

Huntress was based off of some weird Russian Urban Legend.

Trapper was definitely Jason inspired from the machete and appearance, but his kit is definitely nothing like Jason.

Wraith is pretty unique.

Billy and LF obviously based off of LF.

Nurse seems very Silent Hillish.

The Doctor was based off of some Asian doctor who performed electroshock therapy on his patients.

Myers is Myers.

Hag is very unique again, but probably based off of some witchcraft urban legends. I have absolutely no idea how you link her to Freddy. Like zero. Freddy was a serial Killer, the hag wasn't., Freddy burned to death the hag was starved. She also uses sigils, while Freddy uses nightmare reality manipulation.

The ONLY similarity to Freddy that Hag has is her skin having the appearance being burnt like Freddy's. Otherwise there is none and like I said above she is loosely based on witchcraft urban legends.

Btw, LF (and Norman Bates for that matter) were loosely inspired by Ed Gein, but very, and I mean very loosely.
