How to fight against the Cannibal Killer

Share your tips and strategies to evade this dangerous killer

1 way is to go left then go right when the killer moves his/her screen to the left and then the opposite and repeat.

if the killer gets too close and you dont have much distance from it , i suggest doing a juke to go behind it, becarefull this strat won't always work ( especially on the Pro Cannibal Killers )

You aren't going to juke a decent lf if he's in range, period.

He hates pallet looping though

Pallet loop him like any other Killer and you will win. If he revs up his chainsaw expecting you to throw down a pallet, then just keep running the loop. He's just a worse hillbilly.

Here is what i know (but i am not a "pro") :
-You can see him from far (terror radius + his yellow clothes)
-This killer will want to get close to you, don't let him like most of the killer.
-When he charge his chainsaw he get slow down and need some times to charge it fully : use this time wisely (for example a loop on a spot with a pallet can be wisely).
-When he charge, you can count the number of time he will use his chainsaw (that way you know when it will stop).
-When he is using his chainsaw and he is close : you have some options : locker, object around like tree (risky but can be done), pallet, windows well timed.
-When he hit an object don't pass close to him or you will get a chainsaw hit .
-After manage to loop him a lot he will probably start to use his first weapons (so same as for other killer).
-If you see this killer camp in front the hook with his chainsaw , don't try to rescue (also basement can be extremely difficuly).

Thanks for the strats, im sure other players will appreciate it too and this might help them when they face the cannibal

Actually he is a low to mid tier killer.
Pretty weak and in need of a decent buff.
The only thing that he does really good, is punishing cocky survivors behavior.
So the best strategy against him:
Don't be cocky = win.

^ Also don't even try and save people when he is nearby. When I played my first few games with him to test him out I downed so many survivors while they were unhooking, both the hooked and the unhooker.

If you are going for a basement save and you have a reasonable amount of distance between him, rescue the guy and get into the locker to bait him into picking you up, if he takes the bait your friend can escape, if it doesn't work get out of there once he downs the other guy.

Leatherface is one of the most dangerous when it comes to its power.
Basically he punishes those who play badly, like coky survivors, farmers (when someone unhook you near the killer) etc. Against him is essential to be stealth, believe me if you play stealth you will not have any problelm. Make sure you hide when you are in his terror radius, make sure is far away of the hook before saving a dude, don't run like a idiot.
its weakness is the map control, a good killer will only controll a part of the map (if it's big) where there are 3-4 gens. Be sure to repair all the others before you step in his hunt territory.
In a situation like this teamplay is the key to escape. (es. one loop him, two repair)
