Best Maps for Hex Totems
I leveled up my Huntress over the weekend and pretty quickly got Lullaby 3 and ToTH 2. Lullaby is so high variance, I either lose it in the first minute or keep it for 5+ and get a 4k. Which thing happens seems to be mostly map dependent as I consistently lose it early on Coldwind and consistently keep it on MacMillan (sample size on the other zones is small). I am leveling up Nurse for Thanataphobia and NC, but in the mean time I have a big pile of burnt offerings I can throw at this problem and lack the pieces for an effective non-hex build.

Where have other people had the best luck keeping totems alive?

Lery's and Swamp. The 2 most hated maps. Haddonfield has some good ones inside buildings.

I find Lery's a lot harder to locate totems on. The swamp and Haddonfield it's a cakewalk to find them. MacMillin Estate sometimes presents a challenge. But yeah, for me personally it's harder to locate them on Lery's and sometimes MacMillin Estate

Lerys > Swamp > Haddonfield > Every other map > Asylum

Hex's are easy unless you have killers who camp their totems, then just go for gens. switch from one to the other as required, eventually killers will have to let you complete one or the other.

I'm the killer. I want maps where the totems to be harder to find.

there is no such thing.

Once in a blue moon it will be in a spot the survivors never check.

If you want to run totem builds you have 2 choices.

1) run ToTH and hope they are close together. The more totem perks you take the harder it will be. Guard them with your life. Slug to win, hooking will result in you losing a totem unless you down the right on it. You can't chase away from the totem more then 10 secs or so.

2) run 1 hex. Hope for a good location, check it occasionally, and don't be bothered if you lose it.

As most people have said, Lery's and the pale rose are my two personal favorite maps for hex totems. Sometimes you get unlucky and they have poor spawns still but they have been the best maps that have had the longest time for active totems.

These two can have some nicely hidden locations if you get lucky enough. Only on those maps I was able to actually use devour hope before it got destroyed.

it's more along the lines of placement rather than map.
But i think Lery's is excellent, most of the time
