rotating hooks

So the devs might be implementing a counter to face camping, do we know if the rotating hooks will also let killers hook from the side, eliminating survivors from body blocking? I would be less annoyed at devs for once again fixing survivor complaints without touching game breaking issues.

Well, considering the devs said it was a work in progress, it's anyone's guess as to whether side hooking will be implemented, but I sure hope so. If nothing else, it'l make games a little more interesting. Nothing implemented ever goes salt-free for some people.

^All true, especially the Bloodlust and the mind game. The mind game is the most important of all. Pallet looping never bothered me because I'm a killer main who really likes to chase. The more I do it, the better I get at it and after a while, you notice the SAME play among a lot of survs. Makes counterplay a lot less of a hassle.

Wouldnt it also be unfair for survivors to be camped? even if they didnt pallet loop?

hear ye hear ye, for I have found the survivor main, look upon his horrible disfigurations and tremble at god's mistake.

basicly, the only thing this list proves is that a survivor with zero perks or items can force me to either

A) play nurse
B) bring brutal strength and enduring and just admit that I will have to break every pallet in the map during a benny hill themed chase for the first three gens
C)Play one of three meta killers and with good add ons I will be able to kill them if they screw up.

this isn't a list of counters, this is the list of options I have in reponse to looping, nothing here stops it or negates it except nurse. So, instead of playing around with other killers I have to play one, forever, if I want to have fun. what a dumb ass for even posting this list. I would say they have never played killer but I can't look at achievments because private profile is private

The issue is that the cost bennifit analysis is either the killer tries to secure another kill, which may take another three minutes of benny hill theme, or they can sit near the one they already have, and maybe even down another over altruistic moron as they sprint towards the hook.

It isn't a hard decision, I will always patrol the first hook untill dead. It's a huge risk to go for another guy, and a huge benifit to make sure 25% of all gen repair ability is removed from play.

No, he is just saying that pallet looping forces the killer into a specific style of play, that gets super boring one minute in. I'm running in a loop, I'm running in a loop, I break a pallet, I run in a loop, i run in a loop, i break a pallet. The only thing missing is the benny hill theme. the only options are to invest way more time than should be necessary and be bored while you do it, or play nurse, and I don't want to play only one killer, I want to play them all. I think you are missing the point completely.

As someone who doesn't loop or genrush unless its a camper, then I PUG 80% of the time on top of it, making playing survivor HARD MODE(esp with the rank 20 killers with momento mori's and full tier 3 perks like top ranks have) I apologize you don't know how to dodge SWF properly. PLENTY of times SWF get shafted HARD by good killers. Maybe you're not that good. I know i'm not that great. But still. If you're really mad someone is better than you, maybe you should find another game man.

Until I played killer, I had no clue what I was doing as a survivor. Then I started reading tactics. And my game improved dramatically. Perhaps you should do a tad bit of study time hm? As much as I hate having to watch a video or a tutorial on anything video game related, sometimes it's worth while friend.

I usually don't get rolled, I usually 2k, and one in seven games or so I 4k. I am by no means bad, but it's just boring when I spend half my game running in a circle. It is a zero risk option that requires no thought. If pallet looping was hard, I wouldn't care. But since anyone can, and will, pallet loop, that's why I said a survivor with no perks can waste an unreasonable amount of time.

I hate to the the guy to point this out...But killer can already hook from multiple angles. Thats why we have the autopilot thing that happens when you hook from an angle, to line up the hook animation.

This changed happened a while back. killer actually got it before survivor did.

The hooks will not be rotating either....
