Enter Key changes game from Fullscreen to Windowed
Game will not allow me to type into chat after game is overwith. Every time i hit Enter to send messages it just switches from Fullscreen to Windowed and back.

Confused on how to fix. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Did you try restarting? Always fixed it for me

If that doesn't do anything, try disabling different programs to see if that fixes anything.

Is your Alt key broken or stuck?
Alt+Enter can change an application from windowed to full screen so that could be the case.

Weird, after one game its fixed now... weird it just started happening yesterday... I did nothing to fix it other than play a second game... Thank you for the input, I will keep them in mind if it happens again

I have the same issue. Closing the game usually does the trick.

Sounds like your ALT key is stuck.

This was posted back in 2017. I dont know how it got dug up now but its all fixed lmfao.

Yes, either the alt key is physically stuck (probably not, but maybe) or depending on the behavior of the other app, when you alt+tab to/from it, the apps think it's being held down but it's not.

Have been having this problem consistently lately as I alt+tab to another game to play it while I wait for DBD's sucky queue times.

And yeah that's the fix.

If you have an actual physical problem -- dirty keyboard -- pressing alt once might not necessarily fix the problem. And since hitting alt once does fix it every time, for me, that's a decent indication it's a software issue.

No, it's not fixed. It's happening presently, August 2020.

And ik you're only doing this in a lowkey way but calling out a necro just for the sake of it being a necro is a stupid practice. People who value actual information don't care if it was posted 10 minutes or 10 years ago, as long as it's accurate.

Welp I had meant that mine was fixed, not the game fixed it but you interpret it however you want, in whatever low key way you want
