Freddy is OP (From a main Killer perspective)

Yes Freddy is OP. I usually main Trapper and I'm not the best killer. I am one of those who enjoys playing as killer, but I suck at it. However, since the Freddy DLC came out I've played around 20-30 rounds as Freddy and not once have I lost a match. The closest I've come to losing was when there were around 3 gens left.

So either I'm amazingly good at this game, and belong in the top 100 best killers of DbD or Freddy is OP.

I don't main survivor but I do like to play as survivor from time to time, but again, I've never won against freddy as well..
So from a survivor and killer perspective he's OP, and don't come with your idiotic "But you can pallet loop DERRRR" idiocy, because yall were crying like little ♥♥♥♥♥es when people pallet loop.

Does Freddy need to be nerfed? Yes. Although I kinda want him to stay like this (Bloodpoint and winning reasons obv) I kinda get bored with winning all the matches, it's really not even a challenge anymore

Yes I have 39 hours, prolly 40 now. Guess what? If people like me (majority btw) who just play for fun, are already having the game killed for them by a killer, your precious game will not last.
Anyone with brains understands that money matters, and if people leave the game, the game dies.
Is Freddy balanced if you play rank 1 and 4 perks? Maybe, but again, NOT everyone is rank 1-15.

Freddy is OP, if I as a "Noob casual" can win all my matches as Freddy, against full Prestige and not even break a sweat, then yes the killer is OP.
I don't want a full nerf, All I say is that a simple speed tweek to Freddy when he puts you into the dreamworld is all that's needed.
It's at least a challenge as a killer, and gives survivors a bit of a chance, seeing Freddy as X-ray anyways.

If you are a rank 1-15 guy who thinks Freddy is easy, then good for you, but the people playing are not only you.

Good job with the "git gut" memes, 11/10 very original, glad to see this community has such bright people who can make memes and not rehash them all the time

Killer main claiming a killer is unskilled, next it will be wraith is unskilled after rework patch.
Oh wait, every salty survivor main claims each killer as unskilled or noob killer when they get killed by them.

He is like the doctor. Strong in low rank, broke ass useless at high rank. He is a noob stomper killer. If you nerf him, his viability at mid ranks dies as well. If you buff him, then he becomes truly unstoppable in low ranks. It's a bad balance situation, but it's not the devs fault. They can't help it that low rank players are bad enough to fall for Freddy's tricks. If everything was balanced around low rank, then high rank survivors would never be challenged. And if you exclude the SFW only teabagging toxic mains, most high rank survivors actually want a challenge. Most games vs Freddy we get at least 2 escapes, half of em are a 4 escape. Thats at rank 14.

Unskilled Killer = People who play killer but never win. Unskilled can NEVER mean someone who is good, otherwise it's called SKILLED.

Hes a great noob stomper. I can slaughter just aswell if not better with ANY other killer at rank 20-5. Its bloody easy against people who have no idea how to play. Then suddenly people learn and POOF hes not that great anymore. People just need to adapt.

Killer main here:

Freddy is weak.
He is like a mix of Doctor and Wraith, in the sense that Freddy slows down gen progress a bit.

That's it.
He is just as weak as Doc in pure chases, hell, he is literally like EW2 myers when chasing. Similar TR, same speed, etc.

Survivors at higher ranks poop on his face, due to how easy it is to wreck him.

I don't think you and I have the same idea of a nerf.
Trust me, I love Freddy, I think a small little nerf on his speed when you bring people into the dream world would be more than enough.
If they do that, nothing else then he would be perfect imho.
If you are rank 14,13,12 ofcourse you want a challenge, but an unbalanced killer =/= challenge.
Rank 16+ people are just not having fun anymore as survivor.
But I predict they will nerf Freddy into oblivion unfortunatly

He could be worse. He could receive the inherent ability, or an add-on, that puts survivors from the Dream World into the "Nightmare World" where they can get put into the dying state upon being hit, automatically. I'm not advocating for this buff, I'm simply stating it could be worse.

But I get what you mean. The problem however is, more and more people are thinking about not playing DbD anymore, this will make the devs finally act, but we all know that devs will nerf the ♥♥♥♥ out of Freddy, look at their track record.

I think it's the best person to say if a killer is OP because he has a few hours of gameplay. If he can defeat a full power (4 perks level3 + objects + addons) survival team easily with a killer, then maybe the killer is OP.

Comparing a game which harms no one to the Holocaust isn't exactly the same. Quite the hyperbole, but I digress.

I wouldn't say rank 1-10 enjoy the challenge, in those ranks players just tend to get more competitive and on edge when not the winning side. The game is casual, it's not built competitively around balance. The main thing to remember is that one side won't always win. Games will fluctuate heavily.

As for the players quitting the game, simply over one killer, I can't really blame them. If it kills the game, it kills the game; it is what it is. I doubt it though. The nerf is probably inevitable.
