As we have seen in the teaser, it seems that it is not "Freedy Krueger". I think it has no similarity with the authentic freedy. Could it be that the video animation changes it?

Do you think it will be the same as the mystical Freedy? I do not like this freedy.

design team did a good job of making him look more serious and menacing this is what the remake should have looked like

Right line of thinking but not quite the right way round.

Freddies likeness is what NLC deems so if you consider that the new reboot will no doubt get a sequel ... everything current or within the time line between those points needs to be consisitent.

Actors faces are likeness and that can be 50/50 as to whom decides that given the fact the actor was under contract and in many cases have signed off on merchandise and video games etc.

You definitely have the right idea but trust me BDI DID pay serious money for this. This is a big big license to snatch and honestly Myers, Freddy, LF .... DBD and the team are showing they really meant it when they said this is not a 1 year fandango and more so they are not just gunning for their own creative works they are reeling in some of Hollywoods most iconic killers.

It is a bloody shame Jason got such a sub par game and I wonder just what it will take for WB to back the winning horse.

I would say here's hoping they'll give a license for Jason to them, but unfortunately that probably won't happen because the deal they have with Gun Media probably states they only they have permission to use Jason in a contract, meaning WB under contract can't give BHVR the license to Jason.

But they could give them the license to Remake Jason...

Well see that is why I said WB because if anyone is big enough in both film AND gaming right now to be able to pitch it could well be them. I am completely aware Gun have the say but the whole reason it's WB partnered is because Gun do not have a slice of THIS industry.

Of course realistically I agree with you it is quite a mess of contracts and agreements that someone who hold it veto'd .... but just typing it out for wishful thinking feels good.

And you clearly didn't understand what I meant by him looking gross you ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I said he looked gross as his face just looks off and doesn't look like Roberts freddy. That being said this Freddy is based off the remake and his burn marks looked horrible as in barely looking burnt. In the trailer this Freddy's pants look super light blue..
Thats why I said Not my Freddy because I loved Roberts Freddy's look but Healey was definitely serious but looked just awful

Short of a petition directly to New Line you are not going to get Robert's Freddy. This is not something that is within the rights of SB or BDI to do.

Laurie is just a person.
Kruger is an absloute massive load of makeup and other stuff.
It's not Englund's face anymore.
In terms of purely visual appearance, anybody could play Freddy, as its mostly makeup.
Englund's contribution is the acting, not the face design, opposed to JLC who is both the acting and the face.

It's not different. If you look at Englunds Freddy, you can obviously tell who's face it is.
