Vanity mirror VS scratched mirror.

What's the difference? One has less TR and 32m range, the other has more TR and less range?

Why are they both purple if one is so much worst than the other?

Vanity might have been better, but there is a movement speed reduction.

Is the reduction to the speed reduced to EV1 speed?

Numbers are so confusing in this game.

Stage 1 Mirror is my preference because you can see them so much farther. I forget, but isn't there a speed reduction for the Stage 2 mirror?

Ya there's a speed reduction on Vanity, Which is why I'm asking which is better, since from what I see Scratched is 100% better than vanity in every way, unless someone can point out otherwise.

Scratched Mirror is 32m wallhack but you can only be in EW1. It gives you massive amounts of points if you manage to hit one. A Myers with this and MnA has no terror radius.

Vanity Mirror is a 16m wallhack but you cannot level up to EW3. It does lower your moment slighty but you gain a pretty neat dose of points, should you be able to hit anyone. Stacking MnA and Dead Rabbit gives you an extremely small terror radius.

I prefer Scratched mirror between the two. And I love using Whispers when I use that add-on.

Feels like Hag-speed, the times I have used it. Cannot say for sure, but not as slow as EW1 MM.

Standard speed of EW2 Myers is 4.6 m/s, so I wouldn't call it "slightly" decreased movement speed. It's slower than the Hag

Slightly doesn't always mean the same between Killers.

It is slightly in comparison to the moderate speed debuff of Judith's Tombstone.

I know, but down to 107% speed from 115% speed of running survivors is huge difference, for sure not "slightly". If a survivor has Hope, you won't catch them without Bloodlust.

You will outmanuver them EVERY time with the scratched, tried vanity, despite the extra speed I would rather have the extra sensory range of scratched at reduced speed.

Also, apart from seeing the living, it sees people inside lockers as well as downed people.

And one thing with scratched is that you do not chase into jungle gyms, always go for surprise instead since you are slow like a pile of dribbling mud chasing past mutliple pallets is just not the way to go.

Also if you try it in Kill your friends mode, put Monitor and Abuse on, you will have zero terror radius so it will help you outmanuver the survivor even more. Hence I would say scratched definitely beats vanity in most cases.
