How can you tell if it's SWF or not?
I've been wondering - what is an effective way to tell if a group is SWF or not?

Lately I've noticed that the ratio of killers/survivors is SO bad, every match I start I instantly get it filled up, so it's impossible to tell if the group joined together to beginwith or it's just the bottleneck of the lack of killers in the game currently.

Except for matching names, how do you know if it's SWF or not?

If you wanted to take the time, you could see if they are friends on steam. (if the profile isnt private)

I fear, there's no better alternative. You have to look at the steam profiles and search for the names of he other players from the lobby in the friend list if you want to be sure.

Checking profiles is the easiest way.
Similar names and/or clan/guild tags in their names.
Multiple private profiles runs a high risk of them being together.

You can only fully know if you check their profiles and see if they are friends. But usually they pop up same time, sometimes there is few second delays when they all pop into lobby. Obviously if you are unsure you can always restart lobby.. it's not like you have to wait longer than 10 seconds to get no stack of survivor lmao.

I usually dodge SWF becouse they are most unfun games in general. They bodyblock, 4 BT perks ( no matter if i camp or not, BT will certainly hurt you post exit gates when it is free save). FREE perks from kindred, bond, empathy and list goes on.

SWF manages to do gens such fast speed partially becouse they have free kindred perk, if you hook somebody and you LEAVE, they can just tell their team that "ok killer is not camping me, 1 person come to save and rest do gens"

Yep those games are usually fast and painful. Even when one is looping you the rest know it for sure and will usually keep doing gens without interruption even if you are within heartbeat range. Chasing 1 looping SWF survivor usually ends up in 3 gens popping by the time you down him. In high ranks (5-1) at least.

Don't be afraid of SWFs. They tend to be one of two types.

-Either well coordinated teams with intent to bully or overwhelm the killer.
-Or teams of boneheads that hook dive and make stupid plays to get their team killed (accidentally, of course).

The first type, while intimidating, can be made to play the way you (as killer) choose. You just need to learn the tricks that forces them to play like the second type.

It's really easy to tell using this method:

If you win = Not SWF

If you lose = SWF

Simple, right?
