Why do some survivors wear colorful outfits?

Sometimes when I play as killer, I notice some survivors having very color outfits, such as red ones. This makes it much easier to spot and follow them.

Why do they do that?

At least then they shouldn't expect to be stealthy.
I remember when red shirts dropped, almost everyone wore them and I was accused of wall/maphacking so much after seeing that bright red thing from across the map.

If I use camo clothes: "omg devs fix this ♥♥♥♥, I can't see survivors"
If I use bright clothes: "omg you are a tryhard and you think you are good, you want to be spotted to loop and troll me".

Killers don't know what they want.

Killers don't know what they want.

The reason why killers were upset was because Claudettes in dark shirts would spam darkest moon + MacMillan offerings and then hide in corners, becoming virtually invisible.

When it comes to stealth there are other ways to remain undetected apart from becoming invisible.

Again, no one is saying "These survivors are so easy to find, I can't stand it!", the argument you mention is more of "Survivors in bright clothes are terrible people."

I'm sure theres a survivor out there that thinks that way but you can't tell me that this is an every survivor thing. Who are you arguing for anyways? I don't get what you mean. I said killers will always find a reason to complain, even if you use camo, even if you use bright clothes.

I use both, it depends on my mood. I use them because I like how they look, not because I can hide easier or get spotted easier.

Honestly I'm confused on what's going on here too. But at the end of the day there are people crying on both sides over the same thing. Just think it's important to acknowledge that not everyone who plays killer complains about something as stupid as what color shirt someone has.
