Does anyone else want Pumpkin Head?
He would be perfect for Halloween like The Shape.

His power would be a fog which is tied to his terror radius, this fog would mess with the survivors verison and actions. When they do skill checks the fog would make the skill go revesred or go faster, faster, and faster till the survivor fail. The survivors actions would be slower, like throwing down pallets and going through windows, but he doesn't control the fog, it will stay on forever. Left click is a normal claw attack, but the range is longer (EW 3 only slighty longer). Right click is his tail attack which has a short ranged, but can recover faster from hitting survivors or missing. Pumpkin Head is as tall as the Wraith.

Map: The Pumpkin patch. A huge forest with large pumpkins and a hill with a tree. Their is also a small house where the witch lives.

It really doesn't matter who the license Killer is, as long as the kit is decent.

With that being said, MM was a fantastic license Killer mainly because the devs thoroughly incorporated his lore into his kit. Even the sound of EW2 and EW3 is a brilliant homage to the Halloween franchise.

TBH, no other Killer is as iconic as MM. Pumpkin head certainly is not.

I don't know why Pumpkin Head wouldn't be in this game. He's perfect for Halloween and he would perfect since his lore could fit in the game. He was made by the enity to feed off of the hope of his prey and when he get's his prey he get's powerful.

From what I remember from the movies, he was/is a vengeful spirit that is conjured to well...exact revenge on those who wronged the person who conjured him. He also exacts revenge on those who led to his death. My point is that he is more or less a zombie or vengeful spirit as opposed to an evil person. As such, he really isn't acting on his accord rather is endowed to a person at a given time. The cast of DbD are stone cold murders who willingly choose to be subservient to the Entity.

Lore aside, there really isn't anything unique about his character to build a kit around. They might as well make an original character and loosely base it off of Pumpkin head. His brand just isn't recognizable.

The most recognizable horror film franchises imo are: Halloween (Michael Myers), Friday the 13 (Jason), Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy Kruger), The Hills have Eyes (cannibal Hillbillies), Texas Chainsaw massacre (Leatherface), Scream, and American Horror Story (a bunch of people, but Twisty the Clown, Bloodyface, or Patrick March would be good). The other horror franchises are too obscure or have to do with ghosts, which really doesn't translate well into this game.

My point is that the devs have to move mountains to get a license Killer in the game, but that is probably not worth the effort if so many are niche. Moreover, a lot of the license Killers have generic backstories and designs that can easily be used to "inspire" the creation of an original character. The only unique license Killers that would translate well into this game and are pretty recognizable are Pinhead from Hellraiser and The Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow.

Its better if the devs go for Killer troupes (leprechauns, necromancer, clowns, witch, etc.) rather than licensed Killers. That being said, apparently the devs are too highbrow to include a clown killer. -_-

In that's in Pumpkin Head one in the second it's a human that took his place and force to be Pumpkin Head. Kinda sucks how they won't add a clown killer.
