Who's the best survivor for repairing generators?
Which survivor can repair the generators the fastest and has perks that make the whole process faster/easier?

None of them. The closest would be Feng min who has technician. But that makes repairs quieter, not faster.

Dwight or Feng. Dwight has 2 perks which can make it go faster, 1 speeds all his actions up while near survivors while the other speeds up all other survivors actions while they are near Dwight. Feng has Technician which makes your repairing noises quieter and has a chance to make the generator not blowup if you fail a skillcheck.

You could maybe count Nea with Streetwise if your using a toolbox but I'd go for Dwight or Feng over her.

Dwight has perks that buff both himself and his teammates when they're close together. A team of four working together with "Leader" and "Prove Thyself" can smash through gens.

David King has "No Mither", which can work well with "Resilience" to speed up gen repair if you have it. But there's a huge and obvious downside to this perk - you're permanently injured - and the speed boost is only 9%.

I think the ultimate gen-rush build would be four survivors combining "No Mither", "Resilience", "Leader" and "Prove Thyself". The downside is that if one survivor goes down, the entire team falls, and quick...

On the opposite side of the spectrum, who's the best at rescuing people who are hooked?

^ this. All survivors have the same repair speed. Toolboxes can increase it, but the only perks that increase generator repair speed are Leader (Dwight Teachable Perk) - with applies to other people not yourself when you run it, and Left Behind (Bill Teachable Perk), which is only good when you are the last survivor left alive. And Ming's Technician perk is invalidated if someone else is working on the gen with you.

edited - Forgot about Prove Thyself.

All survivors have the same base repair speed. They all have the same base everything, technically, except volume and visibility.

Dwight's perks help speed everything up, based on how many other survivors are around.

Feng's Technician saves time by making killers less likely to know you're there.

Bill has Left Behind, as well, which increases generator repair speed if he's the last living survivor, if I'm remembering it correctly.

Bill hands down mainly due to Borrowed Time. Allows you to tank an extra hit but you'll eventually bleedout and become downed if you don't get healed after being hit.

How about the David King? I think I thought a perk of his that looked useful. I have been playing killer so far and I am trying to figure out who's a good survivor, so far I am so as with the survivors it's not even funny.

Dead Hard can be useful and WGLF is just a farming perk really. I mean I would grab WGLF if playing alturistically is what you like doing. But please for the love of entity don't just farm your teammates for stacks.

Repair gens? What is this sorcery? I get in trouble from my fellow teammates during after game chat for fixing gens and not joining two others trying to save one survivor.

It's all about the perks you choose i think. You can also receive toolboxes and add ons from Bloodweb. I myself use No mither and Resilience combo. I start match in wounded state and can't get healed beyond that state. My friend says that i play too dangerous game with that combo but i kinda like how i get buffs for repair, healing, unhooking etc... not to mention i can revive myself back on my feets from dying state if the Killer is too busy chasing other survivors and ignores me on the ground.

Can you bleed out? Also what character uses this perk?

Yes when you get hit by killer and enter the dying state. There you can bleed out eventually but you have the advantage of getting back on your feet to wounded state if you manage to fill the healing meter that fills when you keep the left mouse button on. (this with No Mither perk)

The character doesnt matter in this but I use David King character. All you really need is to get "No Mither" perk and "Resilience" perk from the Bloodweb and those are generated randomly each time you level up so you might get them sooner or later. My own Bloodweb level is 20 currently with David King character.

Another advantage with No Mither perk is that you dont leave trail of blood when you walk or run around (if i understood the description of the perk correctly).

You may also like to take a look on "Iron Will" perk to reduce noises your character make while being wounded (grunts from pain). Character Jake Park receives that perk at some level.

David King however receives "Dead Hard" perk at some level wich is also interresting combo if you are chased by killer and want to receive nice boost for your attempt to run away. If i understood correctly you are temporary immune to hits and cannot go down to dying state.

Hopefully this helps. :)
