Let's face it, memento moris are useless.
It's pretty much been the norm that when the killer uses an ebony mori it's pretty much a wasted offering, most times I faced an ebony mori, the killer wasn't actually able to kill anyone with it due to how fast the gens fly by and how much time each individual survivor can waste. Then a few times a killer was able to kill 2 with an ebony mori (and they don't get the full 4 points for using it), and out of all the times a killer used an ebony mori I've only seen a killer kill all 4 with it once (which had more to do with how much my team sucked, as opposed to how good the offering is).

Plenty of times as the killer you can kill them on the second hook, since they ended up in the struggle state before the unhook, in which case what benefits does a mori offer? Why, nothing of course.

Previously a mori was a way of countering decisive strike and making dying light "somewhat" useful, now it does neither.

So what actually is the point of using a mori now when all expectations and all practical experience points to the fact that it's kind of pointless to use them?

This mori nerf (i.e. completely nerfed into the ground as the devs always do with killer things) was supposed to be compensated with the BNP nerf (which as usual was a mere baby nerf, since that's how the devs treat survivors), when in reality there is no reason to use a mori as a killer anymore and there are still plenty of reasons to use a BNP; either for easy wins, as they still make the gens go by super fast or because you want to make a few quick points.

Not only are BNP's a LOT stronger than moris (which they always were) they further widened the gap between how strong BNP's are in comparison to moris, while at the same time BNP's are a LOT more common than moris in ones bloodwebs.

One cannot help but to feel cheated as usual, so what do you think about this? Are there any killers at all who think that moris are still good? And that the mori nerf in comparison to the BNP nerf was "fair"?

Moris are about as useful as free tickets to last weeks concert.
Moris are definitely down there with useless. The whole point of the offering was bypassing the hooking stage. Even in the lore, it was a rare reward that was granted to loyal killers. Now it's just garbage. I haven't run a mori since the nerf and I won't until it (if ever) gets a buff.

The BnP "nerf" was a joke. It's only a nerf to the people who aren't cautious enough to make the sure killer isn't nearby before they start. BnP are still easy to use, and to throw salt in the wound, the great skill check zone which grants a 10% bonus is BIGGER than the good skill check zone. Idefk whose idea that was.

I think BNP's are still too strong when compared to moris, but I don't think they're more common.
Mories got nerfed by over 50% while BNP got nerfed only like 10%.. go figure

They are, the most ebony moris I've seen on a killer was about 30, and they were prestige 3 killers who kept levelling up their killers even long after they got all the perks to tier 3 many levels ago.

Whereas I've seen survivor mains with more than 50 BNP's in their inventory, including ones which weren't even prestiged, and I've also seen 4 BNP's appear in a single bloodweb, whereas I've only seen 2 (maybe 3 once) ebony moris appear in one bloodweb at the same time max.

Not common? 46 BNPs right here mate. Now show me your ebony mories
No point in them anymore. Like you said their whole point was to bypass the hook, and that's gone now. There's no point in burning an ultra rare offering that doesn't turn the tide of the game strongly in your favor. At this point I'd rather just hook you again than put up with the fact the offering I just burned is going to at most see half use.

Meanwhile like it was stated, BNP still works completely fine so long as the survivor isn't braindead about when to use it. Yeah it takes some time now, but the skillchecks are easy and predictable, and you get more points with it than you would have before. Definitely feels like a pretty strong imbalance to me.

Can't comment on the frequency they appear, but I will note I've seen more BNPs on my most recent survivor than Moris of any kind on the corresponding killer.

Joke's on you, I have a time machine stored in my backyard!
So does just no one ever die in your games?

If a killer can't kill literally anyone with a mori even after nerf they are either bad or got massively outplayed, as it still makes killing people way easier than not having a mori.

They got nerfed due to survivor whining.
Yeah I agree they was stressful to play against but the killers entire job is to sacrifice you and kill you and that involves mori.

We can always count on survivor mains stepping in where they make dichotomies based on the assumption that it's always just "killer is bad" and any alternative which excludes that presupposition is rejected a priori.

My Feng Min is P3 50 with all perks, and I tried to prioritize BNP's in the bloodweb to see how many I could get in that amount of time, I got about 27, maybe I was just unlucky though.

And you've completely missed the point.
