How can you check someone's rank?
I have noticed that some people call others out for being at a particular rank. How do you look at a player's rank without actually laying against them; is there a website?

No website.

Either they use MLGA to target specific killers (in survivor side) to tell if the killer they are facing its BLOCKED or LOVED and with that they can tell who may they be facing.

Other way its if the killer its a streamer and someone may be particullary watching that person and tell who is he/she facing.

About how survivors can tell their rank , no idea ...

Maybe when they Leave the match on purpose and see the tally screen they can see the rank idk

Gotta say pal,

This is the everyday's bread.

Meaning most of times when people cannot have fun in the game and instead they just go full berzerk mode toxic thread attention seekers.

Again rank its nothing. Just a number with a red symbol around it.

Woulda been more cool if there was a leaderboard or something else to get players attention of playing nice and clean, without trying hard and facecamp or abuse of exploits.

TL;DR : They just want to trigger the ppl they playing against and drag outcomers to a pointless discussion.

they check out the profiles, if it's public look at the achievements, there you can see which was the max rank they got as killer/survivor by the unlocked achievements and if they haven't reached rank 1 you can see how far they progressed at the moment.
