From what the devs have stated they want looping to remain and think it takes skill.
the problem is with some RNG setups of those maps, i believe. It is not every time that it is arranged this way.
But they have been promising tweak it since 1.4, and every new patch (a,b,c,etc), it comes and goes with a FAIR setup and a bad setup.

yes, exactly. that was what happened. it is really frustrating.
but i dont agree pallet looping should go for good. The problem is survivors being able to do it on every single corner.
yeah, my video was a montage and my reasoning all over this thread is a lie.
thanks for the bump.
RNG is way too strong here. The same exact map can have 8 or 15 pallets, no double pallets setup or 2. They should make pallet spawns more consistent.
Besides this isn't about pallets in general it's about the ability to loop the killer the entire game or long enough to de-pip or go neutral.
1) The original poster showed a video where there is no apparent pallet reduction and, in fact, an overabundance of pallets - and in really close proximity to each other, plus to jungle gyms and other obstacles.
2) Calling him a "snowflake" is a confusing attempt at an insult that doesn't seem remotely relevant to the situation. How is complaining about a ridiculous pallet placement mechanic make the player complaining about it a "snowflake", exactly?
What even is this insult supposed to be? It's not even a good reference to the speech from Fight Club and has nothing to do with anything.
No, seriously, explain that "snowflake" thing to me. Is it just a word you like? It's something that makes you feel like you delivered an insult, somehow? Is it a fetish of yours to use that word regardless of when or how?
