Monitor and Abuse on Huntress?
Does it help to counter the effects of lullaby? A good perk to run?

No, lullaby =/= heartbeat

It does not reduce the lullaby range BUT it will help you to sneak up on people nonetheless as most don't move until they hear the heartbeat. I know from experience as I use MnA on my Huntress.

it doesn't effect lullaby, so I dont think it's worth it on her. Basically your humming will be 45m range, even if you equip Monitor&Abuse they will still know you're in 45m range.

This and the fact the lullaby is directional so it provides MORE information than the heartbeat at GREATER range. Reducing your heartbeat brings nothing.

hm but less hearbit would still help... hm idk.

Can you be more specific when you say : Directionnal?

It's just not like terror radius but instead of making a heartbeat it's just a song?

The heartbeat sound simply grows in volume the closer the killer is. Otherwise, it is not a 3D positioned sound in the environment, meaning it plays equally loud in both your left and right ears and, thus, cannot be used to identify exactly where the killer is relative to your position.

The lullaby sound grows in volume the closer the huntress is, however it is a 3D positioned sound on the position of the huntress in the environment. You can use it to figure out if she is, for example, on the other side of the wall in front of you, rather than to your left, right, or behind you.

Simply put, it provides information on both the distance and the direction the huntress is from your character. The heartbeat provides information only on the distance.

It means if you have a $20 or more pair of headphones or speakers you can hear exactly which direction the huntress is by her humming.

Using M&A on The Huntreee means you're giving survivors 8m rang momre to exactly pinpoint you, when not in a chase.

Don't listen to this guy, any headphones or speakers will work. The minimum requirement is stereo which is the norm these days, surround sound is a bit better but not required.

Man, it's a shame, didn't noticed that at all!!
I guess it was just natural to me to know that, because yeah, now you mention it, no huntress surprised me. It can happen with just heartbeat when you are sure he is coming by a way and you are wrong.

Thx for the clarification.

I want to thank you for being someone willing to understand the finer points of this game. Most people refuse to listen and stick to their biased opinion.

:) my pleasure.
I should have noticed that, 7.1 headset .... :/

It's funny because, M&A for Nurse, Myers one of their best perks. And for Huntress is one of her worst perk :)
