also with her instant hit after throw bug
However, I played as Huntress for the very first time today; Level 1, no perks, no add-ons, and I played against ranks 10, 8, 11, and another 10, and I managed a clean sweep in relatively short order with only 1 gen completed.
She seems pretty good to me.
- you can use obstacles to protect yourself from the axes, not from the blink
- Huntress has that similar slow movement, but no real mechanic to catch up to the survivors, unlike blink. As in actually MOVE. Survivors who you manage to hit the first time, have much higher chance to juke the huntress compared to the nurse. Imagine hitting a survivor with the axe from further away as she is just rounding a corner. Surv is hurt, gets a burst of adrenaline and runs even further breaking line of sight, while huntress is not any closer. Nurse actually closes the distance if she gets a hit in. Sure theres the stun, but she is still basically closer after a hit.
- Huntress has to recharge her mechanic, nurse doesn't.
Sure it might be different after some actual perks on her, but I don't see why I would want to play her over the nurse. Its a cool concept but not for me I think.
ps. Her map is however really cool with the hanging meats and the altar and the photographs...
Are there photgraphs, never noticed
