To make it worse, if killer is dropping the survivor and gets blinded, he does get stunned.
On the other hand, blinding while in the animation helps you get the second blind, since the killer likely wouldn't know where to move or turn and would get stuck.
If he instantly turns away and you haven't blinded him in the animation, you miss the blind.
