Unfortunately it's not an effective strategy when well-coordinated groups all have self-healing, loop, and literally just switch out who's trying to loop/distract the killer then go self-heal or get healed by their teammate.
Stuff like that forces me to play in ways that I don't like (like tunneling and actively ignoring people who are blatantly trying to get my attention). Survivors should be trying to avoid me, not the other way around...
If they play differently so should the killer. Stop doing the usual routine because that's what they expect. Get creative.
You are correct, I should not expect to play one way every game. Nobody wants that, it would get monotonous.
My problem with playing that specific way is, if my goal is to down survivors and hook/kill them, what kind of strategy is actively ignoring survivors trying to get my attention?
I appreciate the comments guys.
I've at least got to the point where if they trash talk in chat, I know I've done a good job :)
Probably the best thing i've heard all day.
