DbD Terms and phrases

I thought it would be fun to compile a list of all the DbD slang that i personally know of. Some of them are more popular or relevant than others but still maybe new players will feel less lost when they hear someone shout "Kobe!"

NOED-The acronym for the killer perk "No One Escapes Death", but is also commonly used to refer to any one shot mechanic such as Myer's Evil Within tier 3, Devour Hope's third token, or the Hillbilly's chainsaw. "I would use the NOED perk if my chainsaw wasn't already NOED"

Kobe-Successfully unhooking yourself from a hook "Watch me Kobe off this hook!"

5%-(See Kobe) The exact odds of freeing yourself from a hook "If you manage to Kobe, I do/don't respect the 5%"

Infiniting-Juking the the killer in a place or a way where they are literally unable to catch you. Often used to refer to juking the killer in anyway even if it isn't infinite. "♥♥♥♥ you, you infiniting piece of ♥♥♥♥, im camping you!"

Bob-The Wraith killer "Bob just ran by me"

Chuckles-The Trapper killer "I can see chuckles trapping the asylum"

Pallet Town-Blood Lodge map "Nice we're on pallet town"

Sabo Jake-A typical jake player that only sabotages hooks instead of working gens "Good thing our Sabo jake got every hook on the map except the one im being camped on while we have 4 gens left to do"

The Dungeon-The basement "I put him in the dungeon and insidious camped him with 3 traps and NOED"

Fourman Jones-A catchprase made popular by the twitch streamer TrU3Ta1ent when a merciless victory (all 4 killed) as a killer is achieved. "Fourman jooooooooooooooones!"

Teemo-A killer that camps with "Insidious" "Teemo in the corner"

Soft Patrol-Joking referal to hard camping "Hes doing a little soft patrolling by standing point blank in my face watching me die"

Point Pinata-A survivor that is unhooked by a teamate for points, but immediately apprehended again and replaced on the same hook "Sorry for the point pinata"

Training Wheels-The survivor perk "Decisive Strike" "lul take off your training wheels"

D-Strike-What people say when they can't spell Decisive to refer to Decisive strike

Sandbagging-Playing in a way that accidentally or inadvertantly (or intentionally) trolls your teammates "I sandbagged the guy that risked his life to save me at the exit gate"

Tampon-A prestige 3 Nurse wearing the full prestige set "Theres a tampon flying around the map!"

Slugging-Leaving multiple survivors incapacitated on the ground to bleed out "They used DS and borrowed time so i slugged them to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

The D**k-A hard juke where you completely lose your target "Damn this meg just gave me the D**K!"

The Hood-Shelter Woods map "Awww ♥♥♥♥ boi we in da hood!"

Myer'd-Getting pulled off an interactable by a T1 Shape "HOLY ♥♥♥♥ I just got Myer'd!"

You might want to define "juking" if you're going to use it in your definition on Infinite.

Yeah but it was Someone who made a bunch up. Most of them were stupid. Some were ok, like chainsaw sprint being called fast travel. Yours is better

I WOULD expect people to be familiar with the term juking as its common outside of DbD, but we'll see.

Good list, thx for the effort. I still do miss some though. How about: sabo rush, gen rush and pallet looping.

I do not know how common it is, but I've also heard several times the term: slug festival. Refers to Killers who have won the game by slugging everyone to the ground.

As to tru3ta1ent: You sure he says Fourman Jones? I believed he always says: "4 man rules".

Ive never heard him say four man rules, only four man jones. He could say both though maybe.
