Also worth noting is his lunge range is tremendously reduced in tier 1, as is his movement speed.
Fun fact about tier 1 Myers, the chase music will often trigger before his heartbeat does.
His schick is "stalker", so it's fitting.
His smaller terror radius is also what makes him competitive in higher ranks. If you play him almost like a survivor, trying to remain unseen, you can sneak up on survivors from unexpected angles... and they'll almost run directly INTO you trying to escape.
It sucks sacrificing those easy stalk points to EW 2. But it's an extreme level of gratification... suprise, snatch, grab, hook.
You should try it.
Dead Rabbit probably the most subtlety overpowered add-on for it's rarity.
Really, I switched over to Myers after Billy got his dong ripped-off, and this relatively cheap and common add-on makes a huge difference in your ability to flank survivors.
Even the supposed "downside" of a larger EW3 radius is really a buff. People RUN when they hear that terror radius and Myers is in EW3. It makes it a bit easier to pressure generators.
