No, she isn't.

Everybody only sees the Nurse as the character who is "hard to master, but deadly" but if you get to know how to play the Hag, you can be very successfull with her (ALSO in high ranks, look at the screenshot).

People should definitely give her a chance, but maybe that will happen with the planned buffs.

Out of all my killers, Hag is most consistent with the blood point generation, but her defend gen games can be long and tiring for all sides. I am experimenting with trapping pallet loops and windows instead and see how that works out.

You should really trap places where they are going to loop. This strategy takes some time but it's actually way more deadly (you actually kill people instead of long ass trapping gens matches).

hag is amazing if you play her right, and you pip like a wild man if you spam traps. lay 8 around a hook and you already pip lol

She ia great at extending games, but terrible for actually catching high level survivors unless they make a mistake. If they buff either her speed or remove the teleport stun she will be crazy deadly though.

She is the most fun killer to play imo for whatever that's worth.

The hag is annoying for everyone. If he catches anyone he gets camped from 40 meters away in the basement thanks to her traps.

Then again catching a good survivor can be extremely painful for her.

The killer is Terribly designed and boring for everyone

That's probably the reason why many survivors dislike her because they only find the traps at hooks&gens.
What you need to do is place ways to cut their way off. That is like the only counter (and mindgames) to her slow speed.

The screenshot doesn't really tell us anything, since all it shows is that you have the hag selected and that you're rank 1.

Personally I have played the hag, and I think she's quite an original character, she's a lot of fun, and she has a lot of potential, regardless of all that I do think she is the worst killer in the game.

Pallet looping was already a problem among high ranks and in her current state she is even more vulnerable to it than any other killer.

I would love to see a hag player that doesn't play her like a camping machine, yet still kills loads of pallet looping rank 1's, just so far I haven't seen it anywhere, only a few random individuals who claim they can do it, and I'm afraid that hearsay isn't good enough, especially when I also tried very hard myself to play her without camping of any kind and no traps under hooks, but unfortunately once I got to the top ranks, everything just fell to pieces again.

I don't doubt that, or anything that was on the original screenshot (which was very little, as all it shows is your rank and the hag), what I doubt is the rather extraodrinary claim that the hag works just fine against decent pallet looping survivors.

Now if your claim is just; "I can kill rank 1 survivors with the hag", then I don't doubt that either and that also says very little, since the rank system is not skillbased, and therefore you can find a massive discrepancy between the skills of different rank 1 survivors.

With that said if you think you have it all figured out, then by all means share us your secret, so I can play the hag again and not have to worry about pallet loops and also not have to wait for her getting buffed.

No, there is of course no solution for pallet looping (and I doubt it will happen soon) but there are other situations where you have to use her strengths and catch them.

There are players who can generally do quite decent with the hag (and we know that to be the case since they are streamers and therefore everyone can see them do things), in the end they still have to resort to camping/trapping hooks (unless if they have a mori of course), get frustrated from pallet loops and commit to things like the 3 gen strat in the late game making games exceptionally long and boring.

On low ranks she's fun, as any killer can do just fine there, but her current kit is not all too useful against pallet looping survivors.

It's so weird I've never heard middle ground for the hag. People only ever call her the best or the worst. It's so weird. I think she is good, just needs a different playstyle
