5% Rule?

I have several hundred hours now and I've encountered a player who said I was being a **** for rehooking him after he unhooked himself. I asked him where the rule came from. He said the Bible.

Depends ont he game for me. I had a game where three gens in one guy dc'ed, one for some reason ended up killing themself on the hook. A third was still ont he hook. Caught the last one. Hooked her and stepped back. She kobed and so I let her go and escape the game.

I have had other games in which I have been told a surviour got off the hook themself and I should of let them go but they could of been saved so they were bashed and rehooked.

Also I willa dmit depends on how the surviours play. If they are a good bunch I let them escape anyway. Not out for kills, just fun to be honest.

I am generally a very nice killer, but when this happens, it's more like "Hurray, you got points! Now die."

The only times I let survivors escape is either A: The game is unfair on the start (2-3 survivors right on the start), I usually farm with them. B: I feel generous, you deserve the hatch.

I just unhooked My self 3 minutes ago (The killer was a camper...) And nothing... He just killed me... So yeah, Is a Rule... But not a true one

But ultimately the killer is judge jury and executioner. i only have 75 hours in this game which isnt alot in grand scheme of things but everytime I try to adhere to some type of code of conduct for killers I get told about a new rule.

Depends ont he player if I go with this one. I have had game where surviour did fine but got unlucky ending up ont he hook and got themselves off so I let them leave. Other times if the person betrayed their team mates or was silly enough to take a hook down before my very eyes..well even if they did get off they went back on again.
