Also, don't swing predictably, fake your lunge direction.
Let's say a survivor is in front of you and moves to the left. Start your lunge by looking more left than the survivor actually is (pretend to predict their obvious movement direction [left in this case]) and then, when the survivor moves to the right to dodge, steer to the right.
It doesn't work always, though.
The best solution would be for the devs to balance the game properly but obviously that's not gonna happen.
All you have to do is do a short lunge, as your aim will snap onto it.
If you're doing a FULL lunge, it might miss. But not always. I never really fall for 360s because all I have to do is tap m1 and boom, they got downed looking like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It only works on new Killers but it can fool you once or twice.
