Are you sure? Is there any confimation from Devs or what not?
I was able to undo the fps cap and increase some by using adding/changing these values.
in engine.ini add:
[/script/engine.engine]
bSmoothFrameRate=true
MinDesiredFrameRate=22.000000
SmoothedFrameRateRange=(LowerBound=(Type="ERangeBoundTypes::Inclusive",Value=22),UpperBound=(Type="ERangeBoundTypes::Exclusive",Value=122))
in gameusersettings.ini change:
bUseVsync=false
FrameRateLimit=122.000000
Then after you have made those changes, make sure both files get set to Read Only.
I was able to keep my Ultra setting and am now back to gett getting 75-90 fps in-game as I was before 1.40
My specs:
i7 6700k OC 4.4
gtx 970 OC
SSD
16GB ram
w7ult 64bit
The DEVS already psoted that before, it doesnt work for most
What they posted was slightly different. This has worked for almost everyone that has tried it,
I saw the exact same thing on reddit from a DEV and it did not work at all lol
Sorry bout your luck.
If on Windows:
Hold the Windows key and press R to open the 'Run' command.
Type in "appdata" and hit enter.
'Local' > 'DeadByDaylight' > 'Saved' > ''Config' > 'WindowsNoEditor'
Here you can find 'Engine' and 'GameUserSettings', the two files Murf mentioned.
Thanks Murf. Worked for me.
Though it's still too low to be playable.
Nice thanks friend
